The inventory is still having problems, but i have decided to procede with level design.
the second level will be a cave entering underground where you must traverse the cliff edges to make it to the bottom safe.
the fall will kill you and there will be zombies along the way.

Minecraft 2d v0.1
A few 2d minecraft games have been made already, most with the free build style of the origonal game.
This is rarely a good thing in 2d because at the end of it all you get what?? A picture.
Ive decided to take this idea and make preset levels and challanges to get through.

in order to do this i had to change a few of the minecraft world rules.
1.the only block you can brake with your fist is grass/soil...possably sand when i get round to it
2. all other blocks require certian level tools to break.
3. you cant build anywhere you need to use the pre-built toolboxes---MAY CHANGE.
4.can only build the pre decided tool at the workbench for the level- will be the one you need- MAY CHANGE
this is so you cant just walk to the end of the level you have to collect items.
so far i have the first level finished.
changes i need to make before finished.
1. more levels.
2. add hp to the character
3. zombies die in more than 1 hit
4. add more plantable blocks. so far you can only plant soil and cannot switch
5. add a inventory system.
6. fix the soil number on the inventory, its currently gold.
Will add more as i come across them
7.THE INVENTORY ISNT WORKING, BUT i WILL TELL YOU HOW MUCH WOOD/ SOIL YOU HAVE, SOIL IS THE BOTTOM NUMBER.
goal: to get to the end of the first level. soil can be broke, stone cant, gravel can but it requires a wooden spade.
the end of the leve is in the first cave to the right. Once you hit the blue block its level over.
I need initial feedback please :)

Otho -- Creative Server

This server was kinda cool, had loads of good sites and friendly people.
The protection on this server was perfect. Loads of anti grief and areas normal players couldnt get into.
Took a while to break through the defences. I would give it 100% on defense.
The buildings on this server were good but ive seen better. But a few buildings made me laugh.

The rest of the server was pretty much streets and buildings, a standard server.
The ranks on the server are determined by the amound of time you have spent on the server with a option to donate $5-20 to gain a rank that allows you to fly and other things.
some say its worth the extra.
Overall a good fun server,
highly recomended for someone who wants to make a difference

Griefing Roleplay?

Not much to say about this server, its map is only temporary so when it gets back up it may be better.
Just a normal roleplay server with level ups such as acrobatics...
But the interesting thing is the griefing policy, as long as you havnt requested your building to be protected its alowed to be griefed.
After a few days the tempory map ended up like this.
Other than the griefing the roleplaying seems quite good. A hunger mod keeps you moving, and working anti grief and economy mods keep it interesting.
in game towns make your home official.
Im going to hold off for a week on the score as im assured the map will soon be up and working :)
But it seems good.
Once working if roleplay is your thing this server seems perfect.

Donvos server
Donvos server - 83.222.240.254:28965
As free servers go, this one has none of the pluggins needed to stop griefers.
Give it a day or two before it crumbles unless they get the pluggins sorted.
Even with little hacking experiance it would take less than 10 mins to bring down this servers defenses, compared to the paid servers that even experts find it hard.
ADVICE: BACKUP NOW!
Other than that this server has a few pretty sites
A nice Dog bumming a sheep
A cool Snowman
A city that would be cool if it wasnt admined and if it was built by players on the server rather than before the server was live.
Only good thing about this server was the art and the people are friendly.
Other than that there are pleanty of other servers for serious players.
Come here if you want to build a work of art and have it destroyed in 2 days.

Minetown-The best?

Minetown is a eppic minecraft server with structure.
Rules and Anti-grief systems in place has let this town thrive into a huge metropolis.
With addons working perfectly and hard working mods giant structures and worlds have been formed.
In the first 10 mins of walking round i came across buildings that blew my mind.
Vegas
This building is one of many in the vegas corner of the map, allowing players to risk hard earned money for huge rewards, but you will prob lose.
----MMU takes no responsiblilty for loss of money or pride at the Minetown casino----
Accomodation
Assuming you can afford the costs you can stay at minetowns 5 star hotel, with fully lifts staying on the top floor wont take ages to get to your room.
The only fault with this is its across the road from the local night club or it would be perfect. A note to any Future city builders, people need sleep!
War Zone
The war zone can be accessed by portal, teleporting you to a different world on the same server. Where EPIC PVP wars take place with many different in game armies taking to the battlefield.

Seriously its huge and hollow, LOOK AT IT!
This server has friendly staff and cool regulars, with Epic pluggins and amazing buildings
The only downside is with several worlds, large buildings and pleanty of players lag is a issue, but this wont stop me going back as this would be a issue with any server this size.
